ThisAbles project
ThisAbles is a joint project of Ikea-Israel, Milbat organization and Access Israel organization.
In the framework of the project, a team of Milbat product designers and occupational therapists developed a variety of special devices and add-ons that enable people with disabilities to use and enjoy Ikea products.
All the special devices that Milbat has developed for this project can be prepared with a 3D printer!
We are happy to provide free of charge the files and diagrams of these devices.
In order to enable us to continue develop assistive devices that will help more people with disabilities enjoy a better quality of life – we ask you to take part in this amazing endeavor by donating to Milbat.
If these special devices and add-ons items are not exactly what one needs, Milbat’s product designers and occupational therapists will be happy to help:
- To adapt the item or its measures to suit a person’s specific need.
- To custom develop a new special assistive device or an add-on to suit a person’s specific need.
